The short version
We collect as little as we can get away with. We don't sell your data, we don't trade it, and we don't build advertising profiles from it. This page explains what we do collect and why.
This policy covers the WholeArc website. Our individual apps may handle data differently — each one carries its own policy.
Information you give us
When you submit the partner form, we receive what you type into it: your name, email, your organisation and the kind of help you need if you choose to give them, and your message. We use it to reply to you and for nothing else.
If you allow it, we use Google Analytics to understand — in aggregate — which pages people read and how far down them they get. It sets cookies and records things like page views, which sections of a page were seen, approximate location (country and region, never precise), browser, device type and screen size.
This site is served by Firebase Hosting, which keeps standard technical logs of requests, including IP addresses. We also use Firebase Performance Monitoring to see how quickly pages load for real visitors. None of this is used to work out who you are.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries you send us
- To keep the site running and secure
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages people read
We do not use your information to advertise to you, and we don't pass it to third parties for their own purposes.
Who else sees it
Only the service providers we need to operate — Google Analytics, Firebase Hosting and Firebase Performance Monitoring (both Google), and FormSubmit, which delivers the partner form to our inbox — and only to the extent required to do their job. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Analytics is off until you say yes
We ask before we measure anything. Until you choose Allow, Google Analytics stores nothing on your device and sends us nothing — we use Google Consent Mode, which holds analytics storage in a denied state by default.
Changed your mind? Clear this site's data in your browser and the
question comes back. You can also add
?noanalytics=1 to any WholeArc address to switch
measurement off for good in that browser.
What we deliberately don't collect
- Anything you type into a form — names, emails, phone numbers, message contents
- Your precise location
- The full addresses of links you click away to; we record only the destination site
- Anything in the query string of a web address
What you can ask for
The WholeArc Labs LTD is responsible for the information described here. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@wholearc.com and we'll act on it.
If this policy changes
We'll update this page and move the date at the top. If a change materially affects you, we'll say so rather than quietly editing.
